The team at Bridging Finance Solutions were delighted to make a donation to local Wallasey’s Egremont Primary School’s foodbank.

Members of the BFS team visited the Wirral school and attended the socially distanced afternoon assembly where they were welcomed by the Head Teacher, Mel Eastwood, who kindly showed the group around.

The firm retains its founding base in Wallasey and is keen to support this local primary school who has appealed for support in meeting the needs of its foodbank and helps feed up to 60 school families.

Jeanette Gwatkin of Bridging Finance Solutions explained: “It’s a real privilege to be able to support such a wonderful school, led by a brilliant team. Our visit was incredibly humbling and hugely insightful and undoubtedly had an impact on us all – we hope to continue to work with the school in 2021.

“Our Managing Director, Steve Barber, who is from Wallasey originally, is passionate children shouldn’t go hungry at anytime of the year. The school offers so much more than education, providing a warm and friendly environment with caring and nurturing staff.

“We will continue to stay in touch with the school and explore different ways we can support them moving forward.”
