This month, Bridging Finance Solutions turns 15!!
Launched at the beginning of the year in 2006, BFS has undoubtedly evolved and matured – meeting this milestone birthday is a massive celebration for the entire team.
Launching as a relatively small and specialist bridging operation, BFS has grown to become one of the North’s most trusted and well-established bridging and development finance businesses.
Launched by MD, Steve Barber, with an initial team of just two, today the firm employs a workforce of 16 and to date has lent in excess of £50m. Enjoying an average 30% year on year growth, the BFS development journey has been steady and organic, capturing a niche market of sub £1m loan deals, predominately in the North, and in more recent years, the growing development loan sector.
Steve Barber commented: “This is an important birthday for any business but particularly one in our industry where many ventures simply don’t stand the test of the time. Our growth has undoubtedly been down to the quality and hard work of the BFS team members.
“We have weathered many challenges, including recession and the current pandemic, but have come through the other side stronger and more resilient than ever before.
