Bridging Finance Solutions has held its annual conference at a stunning castle in North Wales where the 20-plus strong team took over the stately pile for a three-day team-building exercise.
Following a year of working remotely due to Covid, the entire BFS team set up home in Prestatyn Castle. With remote working in place for much of the past 16 months, and with typical operations now resumed, BFS Managing Director, Steve Barber was keen to bring the troops together for a combination of work and social time spent together.
Steve explained: “It’s been such a difficult year for everyone, both in terms of business and on a personal level. BFS is a tight-knit firm and as we grow, it’s important that we retain the strong family ethos and nurturing values on which we’re built.
“I wanted to bring the team together in a relaxed setting where we could hold our planning and development day but could also enjoy some free time together as a group. Everyone stayed over for two nights at the castle, and whilst it was incredibly productive, we’ve also had lots of fun.
“During lockdown, we have remained fully operational and have taken on a number of new team members including two Business Development Managers, as well as a new Head of Sales. It really is great to consider fresh ideas and innovative thinking as we move out of lockdown, and I feel we have a renewed energy and focus as a team.
“The session away has given us all the opportunity to share ideas and discuss challenges and I know that together, we are all incredibly excited about the year ahead.”
