A unique Development Finance Day, hosted by Bridging Finance Solutions and the NACFB, which attracted over 120 industry professionals, has been hailed a major success.
Developers, builders, brokers, accountants, solicitors and fellow professionals joined the BFS and NACFB teams for the education day at Ashton-in-Makerfield Golf Club which took delegates through the development finance journey.
Insight and information was shared by experts from within the development finance process. Seasoned property developer, John Howard, kickstarted proceedings reciting his experiences in the property development sector. This was followed with sessions from representatives of the Underwriting, Valuation, Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Legal teams.
Steve Barber, Managing Director at Bridging Finance Solutions explained: “For us, it is really important to take the audience on the development finance journey from start to finish. We want to help educate and steer our clients in the right direction. It’s important that every base is covered, and every hurdle is overcome, to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible.
“It was great to share the stage with some of the most experienced and qualified professionals in our industry who each brought something unique to the day. Whilst we ultimately covered all bases, we believed that even the most seasoned developer or professional will have learnt something from our day.
“Feedback has been fantastic and we are supporting clients with their enquiries following the event. This is something that we’ll definitely look to replicate in different parts of the country later this year.”
