The Liverpool & District Cricket Competition have landed a new title sponsor after signing a three-year deal with Bridging Finance Solutions Group.
The agreement with the Wallasey-based short term loan provider, who take over from Business Assistance, starts in spring 2010.
Next year’s Competition will involve three divisions with 12 teams in each.
League secretary Chris Weston said: “We are delighted to welcome Bridging Finance (NW) as our sponsor for the next three seasons.
“The deal provides the competition with real security and will aid the development of the league and the teams competing”.
Steve Barber, director of Bridging Finance Solutions, said, “It’s a great time to be involved in English cricket.”
“Following England’s Ashes success, enthusiasm for the sport has never been higher and we’re delighted to be supporting the development of the game in Merseyside.”
