Calli Hanrahan has joined the underwriting team as Underwriter at Bridging Finance Solutions in a move that supports the firm’s ongoing expansion plans.
With over 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, Calli previously worked with the Co-op bank with a career operating in personal banking, business banking, small business loans and large corporate lending and underwriting.
Calli’s role as an Assistant Relationship Manager at the Co-Op saw her focus on and maintain a book of medium to large corporate customers with turnover of typical £1 million to £20 million. Growth in her team and department saw the regional branch grow to become the third largest in the UK. Prior to joining BFS, Callie also worked as Operational Manager for a large mortgage and insurance broker.
Calli commented: “I have worked in various areas of the financial sector and lending is definitely where my passion lies. I already have experience in bridging and found this form of lending incredibly interesting. This new role at BFS offers an exciting new challenge and I look forward to being part of a dynamic and driven company that is undoubtedly making waves in the sector.”
Working as part of Head of Underwriting Rachel Davies’s team, Rachel added: “Calli brings a strong, existing understanding of bridging to her new role. Initially, she will focus on straightforward residential bridging but is keen to look at more complex development deals moving forward, which is an area where we are seeing considerable growth”.
