A husband and wife team have secured their final phase of funding for their self-build dream home in Warrington.
The self-build duo had purchased a plot of land in the town and secured planning to build a four-bed dormer bungalow. A caravan has been set up at the site in which the couple were living during the build, whilst remaining hands-on and project managing the scheme.
An experienced builder and developer, the husband within the couple was keen to keep build progress consistent and meet projected timeframes. He recognised the importance of continuity within the supply chain, understanding from experience that any delays could impact future trades.
A bridging loan of £142,000 was secured which would allow the client to complete the project and move into the property and out of the caravan!
Once again, open communication and teamwork between the professional teams and client facilitated a speedy transaction, allowing the build to continue.
BFS explained: “Having a knowledgeable and experienced professional team around us is critical when managing bridging deals as with the majority of cases, speed and timing is key. All parties worked collaboratively and we managed to finalise the deal, allowing building work to commence as per the original timeframe.
